From all of us here at SpinVox – we hope you have a super Christmas and an extremely prosperous New Year!
We’ve got lots and lots of big news coming real soon – so watch this space and we’ll see you in 2009!
Last week the SpinVox Wishing Well celebrated its 1000th wish! As well as its SECOND marriage proposal!
Amazing…
To celebrate – we’ve put together this little video to give you a little bit more of an insight of what the SpinVox Wishing Well is all about…
Enjoy!

Hello one and all, I’ve got something VERY exciting to share with you…
Y’see, yesterday saw the unveiling of… Something we’ve been working on for some time now.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you…

I know what you’re thinking… What the hell is that?!
THAT my friends, is the SpinVox Wishing Well, and it’s in London’s Covent Garden RIGHT NOW.
All throughout December (and a little bit into Januray) we’re inviting you to come call the dedicated local number 0207 818 0880 (or if you’re overseas +44 207 818 0880 – intl rates apply) and share your wishes for Christmas, New Year and beyond…
Once you’ve spoken your wish, SpinVox will convert it into text and project it across the inner walls of the structure you see above!
And, each new wish will heralded with an array of many different sounds and voices, filling Covent Garden’s East Piazza with a ‘dramatic soundscape’ unlike anything you’ll have ever heard before!
The tower itself officially opened yesterday and we threw a little luncheon nearby for some blogger-friends of ours, the photos from which are already up online along with a whole bunch of blog posts about how exciting this project really is…
Finally – if you’re unable to get to Covent Garden between now and Jan 5th ’09 – NO FEAR!
The SpinVox Wishing Well also has a digital/online component which can be found at…
Yep.. You guessed it..
Enjoy and hey… HAPPY CHRISTMAS FOLKS!!
May all your wishes come true…

So of late I’ve been thinking about putting some posts together about how our users are taking SpinVox and applying it their lives.
Social/Behavioural change is one of my favourite subjects so when our service has is at the the heart of this change, well – how can I NOT blog about it?!
So – first up:
We have the Rev John Kronenberg, vicar of Hinchley Wood –>
Reverend John has just started using SpinVox to broadcast/email his sermons to the inboxes of the church members who are unable to make it along each Sunday.
Brilliant.
Admittedly – this isn’t brand new information – our PR team did a fantastic job last week and this ‘electronic sermon’ was heavily reported in the press with both the BBC and The Independent (as well as whole host of other news sites) picking up the story and running with it…
That’s all well and good – but they were just previews… the *actual* event itself happened this past Sunday and we sent a squad of SpinVoxers down to cover it – here’s what they came back with…
Check it:
Fantastic stuff…
I’ve got a few more posts lined up along the lines of this kind of thing – but if you have anything you want us to cover – drop me a note james dot whatley at spinvox dot com and I’ll happily report on it!
Wooo!

Nokia today announced their brand new Nokia N97, (looks pretty sweet huh?).
I reckon I’m gonna be first in line to get one… I mean, (amongst a whole swathe of other features) it makes phone calls, it sends/receives text messages – which in turn means that of course, like every other mobile phone on the market today…
The Nokia N97 is completely SpinVox compatible.
Wooooooooooooooooooo!
Complete and utter linkbait I know, but really – I couldn’t resist –
Bring. It. On.
