I couldn't text while driving, for obvious reasons, so I used Spinvox and Ping.FM to post to Twitter and other accounts about cool things I had seen while cruising down Highway 1. Also, just like @solobasssteve, I was able to use Spinvox to receive my UK voicemail while moving around the US and saved $$$ :) Late last year I went on a “Social” road trip around California. I couldn’t text while driving, for obvious reasons, so I used Spinvox and Ping.FM to post to Twitter and other accounts about cool things I had seen while cruising down Highway 1.

Also, just like @solobasssteve, I was able to use Spinvox to receive my UK voicemail while moving around the US and saved $$$ :)

Integration of SV with ping.fm is pretty big too! Like @benjaminellis, I quickly discovered that my voicemail was suddenly searchable! Very nice unintended consequence. I now use it for not just VM but also voice to status updates on Twitter (@mattsingley), Facebook and my other social networks.
