O Canada! Rogers Wireless and SpinVox

Hi all,

As Mr Whatley is now white water rafting down rivers in Zambia, on the Lucozade Energy Challenge 2009, for the next week it has fallen to me, Matt Heath, to update you on the latest developments at SpinVox. So to Canada we go!

Rogers Wireless, the largest wireless communications service provider in Canada, is launching Voicemail-to-Text, spoken through SpinVox, as a standard feature to their CAD$40 wireless rate plan.

Rogers Wireless was the first of the “Big 3” Canadian carriers to introduce SpinVox to their customers in 2007 and we are pleased to see them continue to lead the way. The new plan builds on currently available subscriber options, including a la carte service for CAD$6/month and voicemail-to-text as rate plan add-on service for CAD$4/month.

For those who are not aware, SpinVox is also available north of the 49th parallel through Telus and Sasktel and, because of this, SpinVox is accessible in 95% of the country – from coast-to-coast!
