Good afternoon everyone, Matt Heath here with some bitter-sweet news.
From September 1st I’ll be taking over as steward of Big Talk as our dear friend and colleague, Head of Digital & Social Media, James Whatley is moving on to pastures new.
Speaking on his own blog this afternoon, James said:
“The past two years have been, in the main, awesome. I’ve learnt a hell of a lot and have had the good fortune of working with some amazing people on some fantastic projects.
Trust me when I say: I will take much of what I’ve learnt in my time in Marlow long into my professional life.”
Personally the past two years working with James have been entertaining, exciting and filled with long conversations walking back and forth to Starbucks. I’m sure there’ll be other praise to pour on him, but I’ll leave that to the comments. We’ve all been proud of his work helping SpinVox grow in the social media space and it came as no surprise that he was chosen to be the Social Media Reporter for the Lucozade Energy Challenges and we wish him well in all his future endeavours.
What about this place? Well we’ll still be updating it soon, of course, with a team of people taking up the mantle in line with our expansion in North and Latin America, Pac Rim and Southern Europe.
For now, Au Revoir Whatleydude, we’ll miss you!
