It’s that time again in the U.S. – that’s right, you guessed it, it’s the 15th Annual SpeechTEK Conference in the Big Apple, put on by the great folks at Speech Technology Magazine. Every year this event attracts more than 1,000 of the biggest and brightest in the speech technology world to discuss, debate and educate on what the future of speech technology will look like (hint: the Jetsons’ life is closer than we think!).
At this year’s event, SpinVox very own David Thomson, senior vice president of speech technology, will be participating on three panel events. If you happen to be in New York August 25-26 c’mon and stop by the Marriott Marquis for a look-see! Also on the agenda for the conference are the third annual SpeechTEK Speech Industry awards that recognize companies and individuals helping drive advancement of the speech technology industry. This year SpinVox co-founder Daniel Doulton is among the four SpeechTEK Speech Industry Luminaries being recognized. Daniel is joining great company as past Luminary Award winners include AVIOS President Bill Scholz, PhD, and former VoiceXML Chairman Dr. Mark A. Randolph.
